Academic Achievements
I graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) in August 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering, earning a GPA of 3.64. During my studies, I completed advanced coursework in areas such as machine design, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, finite element analysis, process design, and multiphysics numerical modeling, as well as specialized training in Python automation for image processing and CAD-based engineering. I also hold a Licensed Engineer Intern (EI) credential with the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board (LAPELS).
My academic journey was strengthened through both teaching and research. As a Supplemental Instructor for Comprehensive Electrical Engineering, I created engaging learning materials and helped reduce the course DFW rate from 30% to 22% by improving student understanding of circuit design and theoretical concepts. I also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher in Biological and Agricultural Engineering, where I analyzed biomaterial properties, studied catalysts, and ran multiphysics COMSOL simulations that contributed to graduate-level research publications. Earlier, as a high school research assistant at LSU Health Sciences Center, I designed a 3D-printed microfluidic flow chamber to support angiogenesis studies related to glutathione disulfide (GSSG).
Alongside academics, I developed professional experience that bridges engineering, R&D, and business leadership. At Prince Rubber & Plastics, I combined plant engineering with technical sales, leading production process improvements and managing multimillion-dollar accounts. At Future Pipe Industries, I now serve as a Technical Sales Manager, responsible for delivering engineered composite piping systems for projects up to $6 million, navigating regulatory requirements, and driving growth in petrochemical, maritime, and offshore markets.
My academic and professional background is complemented by a diverse set of skills and activities. I am proficient in COMSOL, SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, SuperPro Designer, and Python, with technical strengths in data analysis, CAD modeling, process simulation, and FEA. Beyond engineering, I have been active as a volunteer, student leader, medical scribe, disaster relief worker, and researcher in both biomedical and green energy fields.
Overall, my academic achievements reflect a balance of rigorous technical training, applied research, and leadership experience, preparing me to contribute to both innovation and real-world problem solving in engineering and science.
